FORCEBIT secures €275,000 capital injection with its smart sensor technology

FORCEBIT, an innovative sensor technology company, has successfully raised €275,000 through BAN Flanders, BeAngels, and Imec-Istart. This funding, combined with a VLAIO O&O grant, will be used to further develop FORCEBIT's technology and realize the company's growth ambitions.


FORCEBIT develops advanced measurement solutions for automotive companies and machine builders. With a patented sensor design and state-of-the-art algorithms, FORCEBIT provides a solution for complex and time-consuming force and vibration measurements on rotating drives. FORCEBIT's measurement solutions stand out due to their broad applicability and high accuracy, making them a valuable tool for making machines more sustainable, productive, and energy-efficient. In a new world where AI will transform our business activities, data is the new gold, and Forcebit aims to mine this with its smart sensors.


With the growing popularity of electric motors, there is an increasing demand for sensors suitable for higher speeds. This is one of the technological challenges being addressed with the new funding. Additionally, further market development is high on FORCEBIT's agenda. The capital from the business angels plays a crucial role in this.



Forcebit is currently composed of its two founders, Jan Croes and Emin Oguz Inci, who bring together a complementary mix of technical expertise and market knowledge. They plan to soon strengthen the team with additional expertise in business development and sales. Forcebit is now focusing on refining its product based on customer feedback from its initial sales in Belgium. The company plans to further optimize its sensor technology before scaling up internationally. “With all the trends related to sustainability, the pressure on companies to make their machines more energy-efficient, reliable, and performance-enhancing is increasing,” notes Croes. “High-quality data from machines in operation to truly understand where the improvements lie is crucial. The use of these sensors enable the transition towards a more sustainable energy- and resource usage.”
